Fishing Information: Fishing for sunfish, redbreast, catfish and bass may be enjoyed from the banks of the Lynches River. The Artesian Lake, which has been stocked with catfish, is also available for fishing, however no fishing is permitted in the swimming area. A valid South Carolina fishing license is required at all times to fish in the park.

Boating and Boat Access: Although river access is limited at the park, several boat ramps are located nearby. The closest one to the park is located four miles north on the Lynches River at the US Hwy. 15 bridge.

Picnic Shelters: Yes
Swimming: The swimming area at Lee is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The area is swim at your own risk and there is no lifeguard on duty.

Bird Watching: 119 bird species have been surveyed at Lee State Park. The best places to bird watch are from the wetland boardwalk and around the fish rearing ponds in the day use area and along the Loop Road.

Equestrian Camping: Twenty-three sites with water and electricity are designated for equestrian campers. In addition, a primitive equestrian camping area is located near the stable.

Equestrian Stable: The equestrian group area, located adjacent to the show ring and stables, is available for horse clubs and other equestrian groups.

This area may be rented for $300/night and includes the show ring, stables and an open space which can accommodate up to 50 horse trailers.

When this area is not reserved, stalls are available near the show ring for $7.50/night.

Equestrian Trails: Lee offers seven-miles of equestrain trails. Equestrians are also allowed to ride on the Loop Road which is open to vehicular traffic.

Hiking Trails: The Sandhills and the Artesian Trails are easy half-mile trails.

CAMPING

Camping Information: The park campground is open year round. Each campsite has water and electrical hookups and is convenient to restrooms with hot showers. Some sites accommodate RVs up to 36 feet, others up to 30 feet.
